Ecology Centre plans Easter fun

Holland Park Ecology Centre will be hosting an ‘egg’-citing range of events from Tuesday 29th March to Friday 8th April for children who love nature and arts and crafts.

First up on Tuesday 29th March children can enjoy an Easter ‘Egg’-stravaganza where they follow an Easter Nature Trail and learn about animal eggs and nests. The Egg-stravaganza runs from 11am to 3pm and costs £2 per child. There is no need to book, just drop-in.

From Wednesday 30th April to Friday 8th April discover amphibian antics and what makes peacocks proud, go on a louse hunt and have fun playing tree bingo. These sessions, aimed at five to ten-year olds, last two hours and run from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm. You have to book and they cost £5.00 or £4.30 for concessions.

On Friday 8th April there is a special Night Safari where children will learn about the park’s nocturnal creatures and seek them out with the help of bat detectors and torches. ecology
