Local schools art show at Saatchi Gallery

Alpha Plus Group, parent company of local schools Wetherby School, Pembridge Hall and Chepstow House, recently hosted its first ever art show at the Saatchi Gallery down on the King’s Road. Ten schools in the group put forward work from children deemed to be gifted and talented, with pieces ranging from sculpture through to photography. Each school had four pieces in the final cut.

Oliver Meyer, head of art at Wetherby Senior School said: “The pupils really rose to the challenge and thoroughly enjoyed using their creativity to the full to create exceptional pieces of artwork. The standard was extremely high and it was very difficult to narrow the exhibiting pieces down to only four per school.” alphaplusgroup
